How long should I stay for?
In all cases, a Consultation is necessary before treatment can be undertaken. It is possible to fly into and out of Budapest on the same day for the Initial Consultation.
The Consultation at our Clinic is free of charge and would inform you of your treatment options, the exact cost and time scale, including healing time (if necessary) and the number of visits that may be required.
Most patients prefer to come for the Consultation and proceed with treatment on the same visit , usually a 4-5 day stay. Alternatively once the Consultation has taken place you can return at a later date to begin your treatment.

How much money can I save?
Let's take an average example. Say your dentist in the UK says you need twelve crowns or units of bridgework at 450 pounds per unit. That's a total of 5400 pounds. At Kreativ Dental in Budapest that would cost 3420 pounds. If we add 10% to that to cover any extras, that is a total of 3760 pounds. That would represent a huge money saving of over 1640 pounds on the UK price giving plenty of scope for an enjoyable stay in Budapest.

How do I pay for my treatment?
We ask for no money upfront and no deposits for any dental treatment. You settle at the end of each stage of treatment at the Clinic.
You can pay in Sterling, Euros, Hungarian Forints, or with any major credit card.
Cash of any denomination attracts a 3% discount.

What are the credentials of your dentists?
Hungarian dentists are famous throughout the world for their high qualification,
expertise and practical experience so their credentials are up to par with
any of those in the western countries. All our dentists are registered with
the Hungarian Chamber of Dentists. View our 'Dental

What if something goes wrong after I have left Hungary?
In the unlikely event of a failure of the laboratory work Kreativ Dental have agreed to meet the cost of the travelling and hotel accommodation expenses (meals are not included) of the patient for an additional trip to Budapest to carry out any remedial work. Kreativ Dental will also cover all necessary dental and laboratory costs to rectify the problem. In the case of small adjustments you can use a dentist in your own country and forward your bill to Kreativ Dental for reimbursement. Kreativ Dental allocates 30.00 Euros for such repairs as re-cementing crowns, denture or partial denture adjustment).
Kreativ Dental is not liable for any unforeseen root canal treatment after having tooth/teeth prepared for crown & bridgework. Occasionally, teeth suffer preparation trauma during crown & bridgework treatment resulting in a need for a root canal treatment afterwards.

Who else goes to Hungary for their dental treatment?
Many thousands of Swiss people fly to Hungary for dental treatment in addition to 1 million Austrians every year. Between 120 and 150 patients a month from the UK and Eire now go to our clinic in Budapest for treatment. You may also meet patients from Denmark, Iceland or the Netherlands at the Kreativ Clinic.

Is dental implant surgery painful?
No. An effective local anesthetic is used during the surgery so that you do not have any discomfort during the placement of the implants. The mild discomfort you might experience after surgery can be controlled with medication.

If I am missing several teeth do they each have to be replaced with a separate implant?
No. If you are missing several teeth they do not each have to be replaced with a separate implant.
Although implants are artificial roots one implant can be used to replace one or more teeth by way attaching bridgework to the implant. Each patient's needs vary and the number of implants needed for any particular patient will be determined by a number of clinical factors.

I have a full denture, is it possible to replace this using implants?
Yes it is.
To restore one jaw (upper or lower) normally requires 6 implants followed by 12 units of bridgework at a later stage. While the treatment is in progree the patient can normally wear their denture.
