England is the most expensive country in Europe for dental treatment. Many patients either cannot afford private care or cannot find an NHS dentist.
Often, after suffering years of neglect, combined with the high cost of private dentistry in England and the possibilities now offered by low cost airlines, many thousands of people decide to travel abroad for dental treatment.
