Treatment: Dental Implants Preparation and Crowns.
Having my dental treatment abroad was the last thing on my mind, in fact i had never heard of the concept. Two years ago this changed. Following a serious accident whilst mountain biking which left me with 5 missing and chipped teeth I found myself facing a huge dental bill of more than £12,000. The dental treatment I required couldn't be done on the NHS so I was forced to start visiting private practices in the UK to get quotes. I WAS SHOCKED with the quotes I received. One quote was over £12,000. I seriously considered having the worst of the damaged teeth extracted and having dentures. I couldn't believe it, I was gutted and the thought of dentures really concerned me. This is the point when I first discovered dental treatment abroad and in particular Dental Implants Preparation abroad. A friend of the family had recently returned from Hungary and mentioned to my brother that, whilst he was there, he had got his teeth fixed in Budapest. After several hours of researching on the internet it became clear that the prices of implants in Hungary were a fraction of those in the UK and dentistry abroad could be the answer to my dental needs. I decided on visiting Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest during May 2011 as it seemed like the best dental clinic in Hungary, it had lots of reviews and offered UK after care not far from where I live (West London). It was my first time in Budapest and was very different to Spain and France (where I usually holiday). However, the more time I spent in Budapest, the more I got to love the place and the people. On each visit I made to the clinic I was picked up from the airport, taken to the hotel and all in all well looked after. The 2 visits that it took to complete my dental treatment allowed me the time to meet other UK patients, some of whom I'm still in touch with. There was quite a few of us Brits out there among all the Scandinavians that travel to the clinic as well. The staff at the clinic were fantastic, special thanks to Noemi, Tom, Dr Ivan, Zoli and Ben (who works out of the UK office.)
Most importantly the treatment I received was 1st class and I managed to save myself about 6k. I've recommend travelling abroad for Dental Implants Preparation to loads of people now and hope they have the same level of success as me.
